To provide the control device of a car with which frequent changeover of driving sources is suppressed.

Since a time hysteresis T1is prepared for changeover of a source of driving force which consists of a variable cylinder engine 10 and an MG1, the frequency of the cylinder changeover of a variable cylinder engine 10 or changeover between a variable cylinder engine 10 and the MG1 is suppressed and driving performance is raised. For example, while the elapsed time tELafter driving conditions of all cylinders of the variable cylinder engine 10 is determined does not exceed the driving time T1set beforehand, the source map of the driving force in which all cylinders areas are expanded is used and driving conditions of all cylinders are continued, and if the elapsed time tELexceeds the driving time T1set beforehand, a driving force source basic map (A) or (B) is used, and driving is switched to the partial cylinder driving or traveling by the MG1 from all cylinder driving in response to return operation of a gas pedal, and busy changeover is lessened to the partial cylinder driving or the traveling by the MG1 from the all cylinders driving condition of the variable cylinder engine 10.
