Abstract:
The purpose is to provide a power management device that is capable of appropriately responding to an instantaneous and steep change in power consumption of a load facility, and that makes it possible to efficiently utilize power. In order to achieve the above, the present invention is a power management device for managing power for a load facility group comprising a plurality of load facilities (1), wherein the power management device is provided with a detector (2) for detecting the instantaneous value for the power consumption for each of the load facilities, a prediction unit (3) for predicting the instantaneous value for the power consumption for each of the load facilities, a calculation unit (4) for calculating the difference between the value detected by the detector and the value predicted by the prediction unit for each of the load facilities, a controller (5) for outputting a storage command or a discharge command on the basis of the positive/negative of the difference calculated by the calculation unit, and a storage/discharge device (6) for storing or discharging power on the basis of the storage command or the discharge command outputted from the controller.
