Title:
SEALING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2006/123794
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A sealing device (A) formed to seal between a fixed side member (4) and a rotating side member (3), comprising a slinger (8) having a fitting cylindrical part (8a) fitted to the rotating side member (3) and a flange part (8b) formed at one end part of the fitting cylindrical part (8a) positioned on the outer side of a sealed portion (S) so as to be extended in the radial direction. A core (6) comprises at least a fitting cylindrical part (6a) fitted to the fixed side member (4). The sealing device is characterized in that one end part (6c) of the fitting cylindrical part (6a) positioned on the outer side of the sealed portion (S) is positioned on the sealed portion (S) side more than the sealed portion (S) side inner surface position (F) of the flange part (8b) of the slinger (8) and a part (7c) of a seal lip part is formed to be projected from near one end part (6c) of the fitting cylindrical part (6a) of the core (6) and to be brought into elastically slidable contact with the extended end face (8c) of the slinger (8).
