Abstract:

NEW MATERIAL:An amide derivative produced by bonding a sulfur-containing amine and a 5W20C saturated fatty acid with an amide bond.

USE: An antiulcer agent and anti-inflammatory agent. It has excellent anti-peptic ulcer activity and anti-inflammatory activity, and is administered at a dose of 10W100mg daily for adult.

PREPARATION: The objective amide derivative can be produced by reacting (A) a sulfur-containing amine (an amino compound having S atom, e.g. cystamine, alkylated cysteamine, etc.) with (B) a 5W20C saturated fatty acid (e.g. capric acid, stearic acid, etc.) or its reactive derivative, if necessary in the presence of a dehydration agent (e.g. N,N'-dicyclohexylcarbodiimide), in an inert solvent such as ethyl acetate at 0W50°C for 30minW4hr.
