To prevent a bottom plate form being shifted out of plate and also cracks from developing in a semiplastic material after cutting by fixing striplike bottom plates, in a freely attachable/detachable manner, which are aligned side by side in the longitudinal direction of a semiplastic material cutting machine and are disposed on the upper faces of individually ascendable/descendable cutting beds.
Electromagnets 12 are perpendicularly mounted at positions opposed to each other from the center, on the body of a cutting bed 2, the magnetic poles being protruded from the upper faces of cutting beds 2 upward. In addition, springs are arranged below the electromagnets 12 so that the electromagnets 12 are always urged upward. When moving a molding frame for holding bottom plates to a position above the cutting beds 2 and making the frame descend, the back faces of the bottom plates come into contact with the magnetic poles and supporting bolts 8 whose height is previously adjusted bear the bottom plates so that the back faces of the bottom plates are brought into contact closely with the magnetic poles. Under this state, the electromagnets 12 are energized to magnetically attract the bottom plates to the magnetic poles strongly and firmly hold the bottom plates to the upper faces of the cutting beds 2 without being deviated out of place. In addition, the bottom face of the semiplastic material is uniformly retained when the semiplastic material to be placed on each of the bottom plates is cut. Thus it is possible to prevent the bottom plates from being deviated out of place, thereby cracks from developing in the semiplastic material after cutting.
