Abstract:
To provide a display device for vehicles with which it is possible to improve the contrast of an image.SOLUTION: A display device 1 for vehicles comprises: a light source 7 for emitting a laser beam; a movable mirror for reflecting the laser beam; a drive device for rotationally oscillating the mirror and thereby scanning the laser beam in the main scan and sub-scan directions; projection means for projecting the laser beam reflected by the mirror to a reflection part placed at a position in the vehicle that faces an eye point; and restriction means 10 for restricting the laser beam from being projected to areas in the reflection part except the area to which an image is projected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
