To provide a doctor unit and a printing machine which can prevent ink adhering to a doctor from dropping from the doctor and dripping down on a printing plate, and to provide a processing unit which can prevent the ink from dropping from an ink processing part, such as squeegee and scraper, and dripping down on the printing plate.
The doctor unit 30 includes: a body 31 holding doctors 32 and 33; and doctor covers 34, 35 prepared at a lower part of the body 31 to cover the doctors 32 and 33 from the lower part. The printing machine includes: a printing plate press platen 16 on which a printing plate 21 is laid; an ink supply device 26 which supplies ink on the printing plate 21 laid on the printing plate press platen 16; and the doctor unit 30. The doctor unit 30 is made to fill up on the printing plate 21 with ink supplied by the ink supply device 26 on the printing plate 21.
