Abstract:
PURPOSE: To simply constitute a paper guide which prevents the jamming of printing papers during transport from generating, without requiring an exclusive space and also without increasing the number of components, make the ink jet printer smaller, and at the same time, reduce the manufacturing cost.
CONSTITUTION: A plurality of paper feeding rollers 2 which carry printing papers being sucked in from a paper suction port 21 are approximately horizontally arranged in a slightly rear location from the center of a printer box body. A waste ink tank 1 is provided to be approximately in parallel with the rotating shafts of the rollers 2 and in the vicinity of the rollers 2 respectively. Also, the waste ink tank 1 has a plurality of paper guides 11 which protrude between respective rollers 2, and guide the printing papers which are carried by the rollers 2 in the specified direction. The paper feeding rollers 2 are divided into a plurality, e.g. 3 sections, regarding the rotating shaft direction, and the paper guides 11 which are projected from the waste ink tank 1 are provided by a plurality, e.g. seven of them, between respective rollers 2 and on the outside of the end part of the roller 2 which is located at an outermost position.
