Abstract:
To provide a printer that can easily grasp a position of a grit roller when placing a recording medium on a platen.SOLUTION: A printer 10 comprises: an ink head 24 which has a nozzle for discharging ink to a recording medium 5 placed on a platen 15 and can move in a main scanning direction Y; a guide member 71, arranged closer to an upstream side in a sub scanning direction X than the platen 15, which guides movement of the recording medium 5; a connection member 61 connected to a rear surface 71B of the guide member 71; and a grit roller 36, provided in the platen 15, which moves the recording medium 5 placed on the platen 15 in the sub scanning direction X. In the guide member 71 is formed a penetration hole 75 penetrating through the guide member 71 and showing a position in the main scanning direction Y of the grit roller 36. The connection member 61 is provided to block the penetration hole 75 from the rear surface 71B side of the guide member 71.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
