Abstract:

To obtain a primer for nucleic acid amplification which consists of a specific oligonucleotide and the like and is suitable for sensitive and specific gene diagnosis, for leukemia, which is rapid and simple, and has excellent operability, by NASBA method.

This primer consists of an oligonucleotide of a continuous base sequence at position 15-30, 12-31, or 47-66 shown by the formula, or an oligonucleotide which one or more base(s) is/are deleted from, substituted, or added to the oligonucleotide without losing its function. It is preferable to diagnose leukemia by preparing a reagent for nucleic acid amplification for NASBA method using the primer followed by capturing/detecting RNA corresponding to a part of the base sequence of leukemia gene WT 1 using the reagent.
