Abstract:
To provide a mask for patterning an organic electroluminescence display device which can satisfactorily form a desired shape pattern, and its usage.
The mask 15 for patterning has annular contact legs 16a, 16b which project at one side of side face in bending shape along peripheral edge part of pattern holes 15a, 15b. In a condition that the contact legs 16a, 16b are laid on a buffer layer 4 and kept in contact with it, a solution for pattern formation is supplied in the holes 15a, 15b surrounded by the contact legs 16a, 16b so that the solution may spread evenly in all the corners. The above contact state of the contact legs 16a, 16b is held until the supplied solution for pattern formation dries and solidifies.
