To make it possible to bond an image to an arbitrary place to make the image hard to contaminate by forming the image on an ink receiving layer before providing a self-adhesive layer on the ink receiving layer.
A material to be recorded is made hydrophilic so as to enable the light permeable surface thereof to receive ink. The thickness of the light permeable material to be recorded is set to a range usable in a printer. The ink receiving layer is formed by coating a substrate with an ink receiving layer material used as paint. A light permeable self-adhesive layer is partially or entirely provided to the recording surface having an image recorded thereon of the material to be recorded. By this constitution, an image can be bonded to an arbitrary place and the water resistance and scratch resistance of printed matter are improved and an image can be protected.
