Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain the title compound useful as an additive for green pigment, electronic sensitized material, etc., without causing side reactions by preagitating aluminum chloride with a specific metallic phthalocyanine in titanium tetrachloride as a solvent at high temperature and halogenating.

CONSTITUTION: Aluminum chloride is preagitated with a metallic phthalocyanine having the center metal selected from Al, Si, Ti, V, Fe, Co, Ni, Zn, Ge, Mo and Sn in titanium tetrachloride as a solvent at ≥50°C, preferably 80-137°C and halogenated to give the objective compound.
