Title:
PYROELECTRIC INFRARED RAY SENSOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2000074740
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To make a pyroelectric infrared sensor incorporable in such small package as TO-5 type package while not requiring a expensive part such as Zener diode and to obtain sufficient effect to an ESD.

A stem 12 which, capped with a cap 2 provided with a light- receiving window 1, constitutes a package, a pyroelectric element 3 and a resistor 6 which generate electric signal according to the received infrared dose, and an FET5 connected to a pyroelectric element 3 are provided to detect the infrared dose. Here, resistors 8 and 10 and capacitors 7 and 9 incorporated in the package constitute an ESD protective circuit.
