Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reactor that can effectively reduce costs while maintaining its performance, and to provide its manufacturing method.SOLUTION: The reactor 1 has a cylindrical coil 2 that generates magnetic flux by applying current and a core 3, consisting of resin mixed with magnetic powder made by mixing magnetic powder into insulating resin and dispersing them, which is so disposed as to cover the periphery of the coil 2. The core 3 has a pair of core peripheral covering parts 32 for covering a pair of coil peripheral corners 22 formed between both axial directional edges (upper edge 201 and lower edge 202) of the coil 2 and the outer peripheral surface 204. On the pair of core peripheral covering parts 32, there is formed a peripheral curving part 321 that has a convex curving shape at a cross section including an axis line X of the coil 2.
