Abstract:

PURPOSE: To carry out a water-permeability test of an underground water perme able layer in a short time, and without making any mistake.
CONSTITUTION: A driving short pipe 2 is concentrically laid out to the lower end of a casing pipe 1 where the outside diameter of the short pipe is specified to be identical to that of the casing 1. The lower end of a strainer 3, whose outside diameter is slightly smaller than that of the short pipe 2, is connected to the upper end of the short pipe 2. The strainer 3 is removably housed in the casing pipe 1. A water cut-off gasket 4, which is contact with the internal circumference of the casing pipe 1, is supported on the outer circumference of the lower end of the strainer 3. A diameter-reduced part 6, which is in contact with the outer circumference of the strainer 3, is installed to the internal circumference of the lower end of the casing pipe 1, thereby engaging the part 6 with a water cut-off gasket-support part 5.
