Abstract:

To provide a stream packet transmission apparatus capable of restoring a succeeding TS packet even when a TS packet whose correction is disabled by an error correction code exists at the reception side of a stream packet.

Prior to the attachment processing of the error correction code to the TS packet by an error correction attaching apparatus 12, a coder 11 inserts the Resync Marker stipulated by MPEG 4 to a data head of a payload part of the TS packet generated from a video signal.
