Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable movement of a thruster to a deck of a ship without using a large-sized elevator such as a sea crane.
SOLUTION: An elevator 2 for supporting a thruster, and a hole 7 passing through a hull 6, through which the elevator 2 is elevated are provided. The elevator 2 is, after being turned 180 degrees on a vehicle plane below the bottom of the ship, is lifted to have the thruster on a deck, is turned 180 degrees on a vertical plane below the bottom of the ship after descending with use of a plurality of winches for hanging the elevator 2.
