To provide a trim of excellent shape follow-up property capable of preventing detachment from a flange, and provide a weather strip having the trim part.

The trim 1 has a body part 6 of substantially U-shaped section which comprises a bottom wall part 9 and a pair of side wall parts 10. An insert 7 is embedded in the body part 6 along its longitudinal direction. The insert 7 has a plurality of substantially strip-shaped spiculate parts 13, and long sides of the adjacent spiculate parts 13 are connected at two points by inclined connection parts 14 and 15 disposed in a substantially V-shaped manner. One end of the connection position of the inclined connection parts 14 and 15 to the spiculate part 13 is set to the position corresponding to the bottom wall part 9 of the trim 1, and the other end is set to the position corresponding to the side wall parts 10 of the trim 1. The inclined connection end parts 14 and 15 are bent as the body part 6 is bent in a U-shaped section.
