To provide a tube pump for an ink jet recorder with a simple constitution, favorable durability and reliability.

A slide guide plate 40 rotated by a pump drive shaft 30 has a guide hole 41 coaxial with the shaft 30 between α-β and heading toward the shaft 30 within β-γ. A shaft 21 of a pressure roller 20 is inserted inside this guide hole 41. During nonuse of the tube pump (fig.(b)), the pump drive shaft 30 is rotated in an opposite direction B with respect to a rotating direction A of the pump drive shaft 30 during pump operation (fig.(c)), and the rotary shaft 21 of the pressure roller 20 is moved in an axial direction of the pump drive shaft 30 by elastic force of a tube 2 (state of fig.(b)) for releasing a pressing state of the tube 2.
