Abstract:
To provide a ceramic tube body with improved strength and the like.SOLUTION: A ceramic tube body 1 comprises: a base material 30 which consists of a ceramic fiber 2; and a ceramic matrix 40 for filling a gap 2a in the ceramic fiber 2. The base material 30 is formed with a plurality of layers 201 and 202 laminated in a radial direction; each layer is formed with the ceramic fiber 2 oriented toward the same direction and covers the whole area of a layer provided right thereunder in the radial direction; and the layers adjacent in the radial direction are laminated in such a state that orientation directions of the ceramic fiber 2 are different.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
