Abstract:
A U-shaped radiating element (21) is formed in a non-ground region (NGZ) of a substrate (10). A first reactance element (inductor (L1)) is connected between a second terminal of the radiating element (21) and a ground conductor (11), and is equivalently in a short-circuit state in a second frequency band (HF band). A second reactance element (capacitor (C1)) is connected between a first terminal of the radiating element (21) and the ground conductor (11), and is equivalently in a short-circuit state in a first frequency band (UHF band). In the UHF band, the radiating element (21) and the ground conductor (11) act as an inverted-F antenna contributing to electric field emission. In the HF band, a loop formed by the radiating element (21) and the ground conductor (11) acts as a loop antenna contributing to magnetic field emission.
