Title:
DIGITAL SIGNAL REPRODUCING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2007/010994
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A digital signal reproducing device is provided with an analog-digital converter,
which performs sampling and quantization of a signal read out from an optical
recording medium by following a reproduction clock having a frequency which
is a half of a channel bit frequency, and outputs an obtained digital RF signal;
an offset correcting circuit which reduces an offset component in an amplitude
direction from the digital RF signal; and a simple interpolation filter which
restores and outputs a signal indicating a prescribed pattern recorded in the
optical recording medium from the output signal from the offset correcting circuit.
Controlling is performed to have a small value indicated by first phase error
information of a section of the prescribed pattern and second phase error information
of sections other than the section of the prescribed pattern.
