Abstract:

The purpose of the present invention is to increase the ON current of a thin-film transistor (TFT). To achieve this purpose, the present invention has the following configuration. That is, a display device has a display region including a plurality of pixels surrounded by scanning lines and image signal lines. The display device is characterized in that each of the pixels has a thin-film transistor (TFT) having a semiconductor 103, and a source region 1032 and a drain region 1032 of the semiconductor 103 have a film thickness t2 greater than a film thickness t1 of a channel region 1031 of the semiconductor 103.
