Abstract:
Disclosed are a display panel and a display apparatus. The display panel comprises: a cover plate; and a substrate arranged opposite the cover plate in a spaced manner, wherein edges of the substrate and the cover plate are connected by means of an adhesive piece. The substrate comprises a first area enclosed by the adhesive piece; and a protective layer located on a side, away from the cover plate, of the substrate, wherein an orthogonal projection, on the substrate, of the protective layer at least covers part of the first area; and an impulsive force partition structure is provided on the protective layer or between the protective layer and the adhesive piece, and the direction of the impulsive force is towards the substrate. By means of the means, the present application can reduce the probability of damaging an adhesive piece when a display panel is subjected to an impulsive force.
