Abstract:
An imaging device according to the present invention includes: an imaging element; and a processing unit that generates single-image data by synthesizing a plurality of pieces of image data output from the imaging element, and that outputs the generated single-image data. The plurality of pieces of image data are image data generated via imaging that accompanies A/D conversion at mutually different reference levels. The pixel unit bit count of the single-image data output from the processing unit is greater than the pixel unit bit counts of each of the plurality of pieces of image data.
