Abstract:

A laser diode drive circuit (2) that comprises: a laser diode (11); a differential line (12) that includes a first signal line (12a) that is connected at one end to an anode terminal (11a) of the laser diode (11) and a second signal line (12b) that is connected at one end to a cathode terminal (11b) of the laser diode (11); first power supply wiring (14a) that is connected at one end to a plus-side terminal (13a) of a direct-current power supply (13) and is connected at the other end to the anode terminal (11a); second power supply wiring (14b) that is connected at one end to a minus-side terminal (13b) of the direct-current power supply (13) and is connected at the other end to the cathode terminal (11b); a first capacitor (16a) that is inserted into the first signal line (12a); and a second capacitor (16b) that is inserted into the second signal line (12b). At least one of the first capacitor (16a) and the second capacitor (16b) of the laser diode drive circuit (2) is a variable capacitor.
