Abstract:

The invention relates to a method for creating boreholes (4; 8) using a laser. According to the invention, a combustible material (5) is arranged on a rear wall of a workpiece (3; 7) to bore through, in such a way that, following the boring of the workpiece (3; 7), a laser beam (2) produced by the laser (1) strikes the combustible material (5) and at least part of said combustible material (5) is volatilised by burning and/or by impact.
