Abstract:
Disclosed is a moisture separation heater wherein hydroscopic moisture is removed from humid steam, and superheated steam is obtained by heating the steam from which hydroscopic moisture is removed. The moisture separation heater is comprised of a cylindrical main container; a moisture separator which separates hydroscopic moisture from the heated steam introduced through the bottom of the main container; and a heater disposed above the moisture separator within the main container. A plurality of restriction members are arranged in a heating space of the moisture separation heater. The restriction members sandwich a tube bundle-side plate along with an outer rail, and restrict the deformation of the tube bundle-side plate to a bow-backed shape. Further, pad members of the moisture separation heater restrict the deformation of the tube bundle-side plate to a bow-backed shape, and are arranged so as to satisfy the formulas, 0.2 ≤ L1/L and L2/L ≤ 0.4, when the entire length of a strait tube portion is designated by L1, the distance between the pad member nearest a heating steam header and the end of the straight tube portion, which faces the heating steam header is designated by L1, and the distance between the pad member nearest a curved tube portion and the end of the straight tube portion, which faces the curved tube portion is designated by L2. This arrangement can sufficiently reduce a leaking path between an inner rail and the outer rail regardless of the length of a heat-transfer tube.
