Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a preparation method for vitamin A acetate. The preparation method comprises: an addition reaction is carried out on C15 phosphonium salt with C5 aldehyde in the presence of an alkali compound to form ylide; the ylide undergoes a decomposition reaction to obtain vitamin A acetate; and the content of the ylide in a reaction system during the reaction is ≤0.06 mol/L. The preparation method is based on a Wittig reaction of C15+C5, and by means of controlling the content of the ylide in the reaction system during the reaction, vitamin A acetate which has high purity, high trans isomerization selectivity and high yield is obtained. The preparation method is suitable for reaction on any scale and can be carried out in batches, semi-continuously or completely continuously, so that the obtained vitamin A acetate has a low chromaticity value, good oxidation resistance and thermal stability, a low deterioration rate, is favorable for stable long-term storage, and has good market competitiveness.
