Claims

1. A tool for sealing works, comprising a mug (1 ) provided with a lid (2) in which a central opening (3) is arranged with such a size that a user's fingers or sealing spade can there be released from filling materials, the central opening having an edge (4) where a substantial portion (5) is straight and another portion (6) is substantially circular.

2. The tool for sealing works according to claim 1 , wherein said straight portion of the edge is formed by two opposite circle segments.

3. The tool for sealing works according to claim 2, wherein said circle segments are folded inwardly for facilitated passage of the released filling materials into the mug,

4. The tool for sealing works according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the mug has a perforated surface (7) adapted for insertion of a cylinder (8) in which a sponge (9) is arranged to be wetted with liquid so that the user’s fingers can be easily wet for finishing the sealing works.

Description:
A TOOL FOR SEALING WORKS

Technical field

The invention relates to a tool for sealing works.

Background of the invention

It is known to use sealing work tools for applying filling materials and to remove excess contributions by means of fingers or a sealing spade which need to be cleaned repetitively during the work. This problem is currently solved with available cans or pieces of paper, textiles, etc. There is an unsatisfied need for a more elegant and time-saving solution.

Summary of the Invention

The tool for sealing works as devised by the invention comprises a mug provided with a lid in which a central opening is provided with such a size that a users fingers or sealing spade can there be released from filling materials (sealants, acrylic, silicone, latex, glue, etc). The central opening has an edge of which a substantial portion is straight and another portion is substantially circular. The straight portion of the edge is formed by two circle segments which are preferably folded inwardly to facilitate passage into the mug of the released filling material. In a preferred embodiment, the mug is provided with a perforated surface adapted for insertion of a cylinder in which a sponge is arranged to be wetted with liquid so that the tool user's fingers can be wet there for finishing sealing works.

Brief description of the drawing

The sealing work tool of the invention will now be described with respect to a preferred embodiment and with reference made to the accompanying drawing where the mug is shown in a perspective view.

Preferred embodiment

The drawing shows a sealing work tool comprising a mug 1 provided with a lid 2 in which a central opening 3 is provided with such a size that a user’s fingers or sealing spade can there be released from filling materials. The opening 3 has an edge 4_where a substantial portion 5 is straight and another portion 8 is

substantially_circuiar. The straight portion 5 of the edge 4 is formed by two opposite circ!e segments which are, according to the example, folded inwardly for facilitating_passage of the released filling materials into the mug 1. The mug 1 is provided with a_perforated surface 7 adapted for insertion of a cylinder 8 which has a collar 9 forgiving if a fixed position and in which a sponge 10 is arranged to be wetted with liquid_so that the tool user's fingers can be easily wet for finishing the sealing work.

The above embodiment is not to be regarded as iimiting the invention’s scope of protection defined by the attached claims.
