Abstract:
This total organic carbon meter 100, which measures the total organic carbon contained in a liquid sample in order to prevent mixing of different types of granular bodies and ensure intended combustion performance in a vaporization member in which two or more layers of different types of granular bodies are stacked, comprises a combustion reaction unit 32 for burning the total organic carbon contained in the liquid sample to generate carbon dioxide, and a carbon dioxide detection unit X for detecting the carbon dioxide generated by the combustion reaction unit 32, wherein the combustion reaction unit 32 is configured so as to have: a combustion furnace 33; a vaporization unit 34 that is accommodated in the combustion furnace 33, and that has at least a first layer obtained by stacking granular bodies R1, and a second layer obtained by stacking granular bodies R2 of a different type than this first layer; and a partition member 37 interposed between the first layer and the second layer.
