Abstract:
A walking aid for elderly people and a control method therefor. An electrically controlled movement mechanism is used to drive the walking aid to move, such that the walking aid can push elderly people to walk, thereby being able to alleviate elderly people's burden during walking; in addition, a control mechanism is used to detect a pressure applied thereupon, such that a master control module can flexibly control the movement direction of the walking aid, and the walking aid can be timely self-locked, enabling the walking aid to stop moving timely, thereby ensuring the safety of elderly people.
