To provide an S/N enhancer that is easily made to be small, is easily subjected to impedance matching with an external circuit and is applicable to lower power and a wide band.
Thin S/N enhance includes a balun coupler for receiving one input signal and dividing the input signal into two outputs having the same power and a phase difference of 180°, a saturation magnetostatic wave filter for receives one of two signals from the balun coupler to convert the one signal into magnetostatic waves and saturating input power equal to or greater than a noise level even though the magnetostatic waves are further inversely converted, a linear magnetostatic wave filter for receiving the other signal of the two signals from the balun coupler to convert the other signal into magnetostatic waves and converting input power into magnetostatic waves with linear energy even though the magnetostatic waves are further inversely converted, and a power synthesizer for synthesizing respective signals outputted from the saturation magnetostatic wave filter and the linear magnetostatic wave filter.
