Abstract:
The present invention relates to a composition for preventing or treating cancer comprising, as an active ingredient, nanovesicles derived from a Weissella cibaria strain isolated from kimchi. The nanovesicles derived from a Weissella cibaria strain according to the present invention can kill various cancer cells, such as lung cancer, pancreatic cancer, bladder cancer, or melanoma, and increase the inflammatory substance (TNF-alpha) of a macrophage, and thus can be usefully used as a composition for use in the treatment, prevention or amelioration of human or animal cancer.
